On September 12th, LASO Biotech and Wens announced a strategic alliance to develop PorcineWENS 100K, a Chinese microarray for porcine breeding. This collaboration signifies a major step forward in the localization of China's molecular breeding technologies.  

The PorcineWENS 100K builds on the previous PorcineWENS 55K, expanding genomic loci from 55,380 to 95,812 SNPs. Integrated with LASO's comprehensive solution, including the OmniScan device, reagents, softwares and algorithms, PorcineWENS 100K offers high detection accuracy and cost-effectiveness, providing an efficient solution for the breeding industry.

LASO and Wens will work together to drive the industrial application of porcine breeding chips through ongoing R&D investment and technological advancements.
